Erotic Poetry

"Snow from his Woolen Hat" by J.K. VanBuren

She shakes the snow from his black woolen hat.
Flakes melt into droplets
before landing on gray slate
of the dark foyer floor.

Thumb over moustache,
she smoothes it down.

It is movie night,
they slide over leather
easy, easy
warm soft under cotton
four thick socks hold close.

Naughty toys silence their hum
and slumber alone tonight
in closed drawers
of her bedside table.

Asleep before credits
her head rests on his shoulder
his breath lifts bangs,
lips move in a reflex kiss.

Boot puddles by door dry
until only salt rings remain.
