I do not know yet what you are to me
as when I was small
and did not yet know what to call
my knee
just that it belonged on my body
and I walked easier because of it

I do not know yet
how long I will let your scent linger
before I force myself to wash
I want to inhale you, draw you into my lungs
hold you inside me until I turn blue
I want to tie you to my bed and make you mine
I want you there waiting without being asked
because you want it, too

I do not know yet
how long we can talk like this
how many secrets we will tell
scars unveil
how much of me you will let in
but when I borrow your skin
I feel I am an honored guest
in a home where everything is beautiful

I do not know just how this started
you snuck in quiet and subtle
I want you rough and tender
I want you free or bound
want your gaze burning my skin
your mouth stealing my breath
I cannot stop staring

I want my hands spanning your flesh
I want in
want this nervous uncertain tingle
even this fantastic fear because I
who act like I know everything
have no idea what we are doing

I do not yet know what you are to me
but I want you to stay if you can
and brush my thighs with your brain
graze my neck with your eyes
I want to fuck like dogs and wake like lovers

I do not know yet what you are to me
but your presence has already marked me
you've been here inside me
left your trace
my body becoming a place you've been
Please
Come again
