Freshwatermermaid is a gullible skeptic usually found wandering through ahistorical pockets of Montreal and other urban glaciers. Those who know her well would call her stalwart, sometimes intrepid. She has navigated the strange lands of high fashion where style is substance, and Canadian politics, where roughly the same is true. She is far too entrenched in the jazz scene for her own good and her debut novel has two titles, A Theory of Consumption and A City Map for Mermaids.
