About the author
Leon Chase grew up south of Detroit, in an area notorious for its noxious concentration of steel mills, auto factories, chemical plants, refineries, sewage treatment plants, nuclear power plants, former missile silos, abandoned salt mines, toxic waste dumps, and fishing. His first full-length play, "The Last Carburetor", was produced in New York City and subsequently published as part of Plays and Playwrights 2003. He lives in Brooklyn, NY, where, in his daytime hours, he "gets paid to fix robotic things that light up." He is currently at work on a full-length novel, which is full of dirty parts.
