About the author

Ranging from being featured in subculturally inclined events such as "Demonikas Symphony of Horrors" Burlesque, and Sanctuary's "Decadence - a Decade of Goth in Vancouver" to charity events such as "Paint Vancouver Red" Auction for the Vancouver Childrens Hospital, the "Femme Fatale" show and auction to help young Calgary girls get off the street, and the "Art of the Book" Auction to benefit the Calgary Public Library Foundation, Nathaniel Milljour is no stranger to the back alley world of gig poster and lowbrow as well as the 'suit and tie affair' world of art.

With clients from all over the world, and showing in galleries and high end stores across the US and Canada, Nathaniel keeps his mainstay with lowbrow rock, gig poster, and album art as well as posters and advertisements for nightclubs and entertainment venues.

In May of 2007, Nathaniel was approached by the Calgary Foundation of the Arts, and asked to participate in an urban renewal program known as "Art in Motion".

Two of his paintings were selected for use by the 'City of Calgary' and 'Calgary Transit' and can be seen in dowtown Calgary on Center Street (Calgary in green) and in Eau Claire ( Monoliths).

In early 2008, Nathaniel laid the foundations of his art project, "Studio Noire", a conglomeration of his fine art as well as his graphic and web design.

He is also the mainstay designer and poster artist for the "Descent Nightclub" in Vancouver.
