These images are my rejection of the traditional porn aesthetic, not actually a rejection of porn itself. While I appreciate porn in a social and art historical context, it doesn't work for me. Porn provides a fantasy and an artificiality I simply can't relate to. As a result, I take pictures that aim to arouse through a sense of reality and relatability. It's about real people, real sex, rawness, and intimacy. It's just sex.
