About the author
Although I typically paint with bold and whimsical colors, I appreciate the beauty in shadows and and the lines of a body. Dancers is a painting that I have created in a series of b/w. Experimenting with lighting and the effect of shadows has a strong influence on this
series. In working with nudes, I find the shadows can be as artfully poetic as the form itself.
