About the author
Dixie Spirt is a native New Yorker currently living in Los Angeles with her two young children. After her recent divorce, Dixie looked to the Internet for stories of inspiration from other divorced women and came up empty handed. That is when she decided to take matters in her own hands. She began writing a column called "Mother May I?" for the website www.prettywitty.com
Shortly thereafter, Dixie was contacted by an editor of an erotica website and asked if she'd be interested to write an article. Always up for the challenge Dixie agreed. This was the opening of Pandora's box. Since writing her first erotic tale, Dixie Spirt has sold her short stories to AmiraPress, Oysters & Chocolate and Justus Roux's Erotica's tales.
An accomplished writer, Dixie co-wrote and co-executive produced a two-woman play which is currently being shopped around for financing to be produced off Broadway in New York City.
Dixie's eclectic resume also includes producing television for well-known reality shows, as well as working for dating expert Dianne Bennett, a professional matchmaker and owner of Rich Men, Beautiful Women Boutique in Beverly Hills.
While working with Dianne Bennett, Dixie gained insight and inspiration about the exciting world of dating, which she is currently putting to use in a very engaging relationship.
