Prof. Barbara Foster is co-author of two non-fiction works: Three in Love: Menages a Trois from Ancient to Modern times, Harper Collins, 1997 (now available on iUniverse.com and amazon.com) and The Secret Lives of Alexandra David-Neel, Overlook Press, 2002. She writes fiction, essays, and is a widely published poet; she has lectured in the United States and abroad. The biography, jointly written with her husband, Michael, A Dangerous Woman; the Life, Loves and Scandals of Adah Isaacs Menken, (1835-68), America's Original Superstar, will be published by Lyons Press in February, 2011.
