A Review of an Erotic Collection of Short Stories

For the past two weeks, Spark my Moment has been my delicious nightly bedtime treat.
The new collection of 38 stories by O&C favorite Jeremy Edwards is a beautifully written body of work. I made it a personal rule to only read two or three stories a night (I admit, I wanted to savor them), and I found myself eagerly looking forward to the end of each day so that I could figuratively curl up with Jeremy’s inspired words.
Jeremy is a fantastic erotic writer. But these stories left me breathless. There’s something about the characterization in these stories that blew me away. His characters are not only quirky, funny, and arousing, but so singular and real that I found myself wishing I could meet them (and yes, have sex with them) in real life.
What makes the collection even better is his range of style. Just as variety is key to a spectacular sex life, Jeremy’s collection is made that much better because of the array of forms the stories take. The reader goes from smart, well-developed tales that feature playful, tantalizing build-ups, to short pieces, or “Moments,” that read like poetic, sultry snapshots.
This is a brilliant collection of short stories, refreshing, entertaining, and down-right (gasp) sexy.
