Review Number One of "A Tango in Subspace" from HypnoticDreams.com

Erotic Hypnotic Audio Story Deeply Luxuriant

As a woman who has always had an intense curiosity about being a submissive, I found “A Tango in Subspace” mesmerizing. “Written for novice submissives, women just considering sexual submission, and women who enjoy more romantic fantasies,” this erotic hypnosis audio story was just what the proverbial doctor ordered.

I’ve long fantasized about having a lover who knows me so intimately, he can bring out my inner submissive and have her begging for more, and this audio story directly taps into that fantasy.

The dream-master’s voice is well-tuned and resonant, and his words invite the listener to mentally undress and submerse herself into an aquatic hypnosis chamber. Doing this in real life might terrify me, but imagining it during the audio story is deeply relaxing. I’m surprised by how luxuriant it all feels.

With a background of beautiful guitar music, the dream-master enters the hypnosis chamber with the listener. He talks about how most people think that sex is purely physical, and he explores the fact that many people who enter into the BDSM lifestyle become too focused on toys and procedures, rather than on their partners.

The narrator paints pictures of dancing couples. I can see them clearly, dancing against a black background. One couple emerges, sharp and distinct, separate from the others, and I watch their athletic, sensual dance in my mind’s eye. The dream-master describes the way the man leads the woman, with perfect guidance and timing, and the two move together in harmony and intimacy. He leads, she follows.

Soon, the listener becomes the female dancer. The narrator reminds me that submission includes trust, and as a blindfold is placed over my eyes, I can feel the air on my skin, the touch of the man’s fingers trailing down my arm, his breath on my neck. I am again surprised at how visceral it all feels.

The male dancer is them embodied by the narrator, and he talks about how “submission is a sense of belonging, a desire to please.” He reminds me that my arousal is his pleasure, and vice versa, and that we are both surrendering to a shared passion. He tells me that “your kisses make my pulse race with pleasure” and he invites me to “be this pleasure.”

Even as the audio story is built around coaxing out my inner submissive, I am somehow surprised by how romantic it is. The narrator stresses, again and again, how important true intimacy and connection are.

The only thing that turns me off about the audio story is when the narrator says that “submission embraces a woman’s true nature.” The feminist – indeed, the woman – in me knows that this is simply not true. Like men, some women do have submissive natures, some have dominant natures, and some are sexual equalists. However, because there are also recordings on the site for men involving dominant women, I wonder if these statements are included in this recording only to underline for the potential submissive that it is okay for her to be a submissive in this day and age.

That said, for those women who do have a desire to explore their submissive natures, this recording is powerful and very enjoyable. The picture the dream-master paints of the strong and sexy dominant male to my submissive female is incredibly alluring. And until my real-life Tango partner appears, this recording is a rich and sexy solo activity.

Hello Allison, Thanks for the nice review. I was also surprised that this story developed such a romantic feel. When I started writing, my intention was just to help women embrace their submissive desires. But once I started researching the subject and adding suggestions for embracing the emotional aspect of submission, the romantic feel just developed. Also, I never meant to imply that all women are submissive. But I do believe that all women feel a need to belong, and a need to connect to their lover physically and emotionally. Submission is a way to embrace this part of your nature. (Not the only way, but a good way for many women.) -Daniel
