It took us busy bees at O&C a long time to get to this review because after all the great things I’d heard about Daniel’s erotic hypnosis I just had to get a taste of his honeyed magic for myself. Finally I pushed aside a few things in my hectic schedule and dug in to “Building the Perfect Fetish.” I cozied up in bed with my laptop, dimmed the lights, and tuned in to get turned on.

There is no doubt that Daniel has a voice that is perfect for his occupation as an erotic hypnotist. It’s smooth, silky and quietly authoritative. I found it intriguing to listen to the inflections in his tone that differentiated between the conscious and subconscious messages.

The story took my consciousness on a ride into a faraway land where I witnessed women who were hypnotized into becoming “happy little pleasure slaves.” The story is intriguing and I definitely enjoyed the idea of happening upon an enclave of pleasure slaves in the style of the classic erotic novel "Story of O." Simultaneously the subconscious message encouraged me to turn deeper into myself and give into the pleasure of hypnosis. Clearly the "perfect fetish" the story is trying to instill is a deep sexual satisfaction brought about through the powers of hypnosis.

I don’t know whether it was because I was trying to stay alert in order to write the review, or if I am in need of a serious spanking, but for whatever reason I did not become hypnotized while listening to the track. In fact I grew increasingly resistant to the idea of hypnosis even as his voice attempted to lure me deeper and deeper into my subconscious.

Unfortunately I resisted when he encouraged me to equate hypnosis to pleasure. I resisted when he told me that whenever I think of hypnosis I will feel a need to be deeply hypnotized and sexually controlled. And I resisted when he uttered the 10 hypnotic commands, the final and most compelling command being to “COME.”  I sadly did not come.

Perhaps I am too analytical.  I closed the file wishing that I could have given in and just let go, to see if maybe I could have fully experienced the commands and indeed orgasm by the power of hypnosis alone. That would undoubtedly have been an amazing feeling. Perhaps once this review is posted and I have a little free time, and can fully relax, I'll give it another chance.
