With the holidays upon us life can feel pretty hectic. We often spend this time shopping, cleaning our homes for guests, cooking holiday feasts, traveling, catching up with relatives…etc. During these busy times when our focus seems to be on everyone and everything else but ourselves, we may momentarily lose touch with our health, our romantic life, and our alone time. We ask each of you to pledge to take time for the following activities this month:
Exercise – with overeating at its annual high this month, it’s extra important to maintain a good exercise regiment to keep the mind and body functioning. Remember exercise improves sexual stamina, mental health, and confidence. This will keep you going through the holiday season. Try to get at least 30 minutes of exercise 6 days/week.
Eat healthy – during the holidays it is tempting to snack on the plethora of baked goods that you’ll find laying around the office and at all those holiday parties. Definitely allow for a bit of indulgence here and there; but don’t overdo it and remember to eat plenty of fresh vegetables, fruits, and lean proteins. Nothing ruins your sex-life more than the low energy caused by a poor diet, or the low confidence caused by having to loosen up those pants!
Make time for your partner – relationships endure a lot of stress over the holidays due to neglect. It’s important to remember your partner (husband, wife, lover, whomever) and to be sure to allow time for each other. Even if this only means taking a few minutes in the evenings to give each other massages, or to share an intimate chat, or better yet to pleasure each other orally and sexually; these moments with your partner are more important now than ever.
Make time for yourself – don’t forget that if you aren’t happy, you can’t keep anyone else happy either. Stay vivacious during the frantic holidays. Take frequent time-outs for pedicures, bubble baths, reading, listening to your favorite music, adequate sleep, and plenty of masturbation.
We wish you all a very happy, healthy, sexy holiday season!
